ABOUT

TECHNOLOGY AVIATION FILM

A journey shaped by technology, creativity, and the pursuit of building things that matter.

Ziv Marom is a technology entrepreneur, inventor, aerial director of photography, VFX specialist, musician, and public speaker whose career spans artificial intelligence, autonomous aviation, filmmaking, design, and emerging technologies.

Born and raised in Israel, his journey has never followed a conventional path. From military intelligence and competitive sports to music, technology, filmmaking, and entrepreneurship — each chapter has shaped the way he approaches innovation, leadership, and creative problem solving.

ORIGINS

Ziv began his career in the Israel Defense Forces Intelligence Corps, where he developed an early foundation in technology, analytical thinking, and mission‑driven execution.

THE ARENA

Outside of technology, he competed in equestrian sports — winning the Israeli Dressage Championship and being named Show Jumping Rider of the Year — before relocating to the United Kingdom to train elite competition horses, including one that later competed for Great Britain at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

MUSIC

Music has remained a lifelong passion. Ziv studied classical and Spanish guitar from childhood and later performed with rock bands and live productions throughout Tel Aviv, the United Kingdom, San Francisco, and New York — experiences that helped shape his creativity, confidence on stage, and passion for storytelling.

DIGITAL CRAFT

Largely self‑taught, Ziv immersed himself in software development, computer animation, motion graphics, and interactive design. His work led him to leading digital agencies including AKQA and EVB, creating award‑winning digital experiences for brands including Nike, Adidas, Microsoft, Xbox, and Visa — earning multiple FWA awards for excellence in digital creativity. Despite his unconventional educational path, he later taught computer animation and programming at the Open University of Israel.

FLIGHT

After moving to the United States, Ziv founded and led several technology companies before founding Kaizen Aerospace, where he led the development of the xFold™ family of heavy‑lift unmanned aircraft systems for defense, public safety, search and rescue, precision agriculture, and commercial applications. Following Kaizen’s acquisition by Powerus, he now serves as Chief Vision Officer, helping shape the company’s long‑term vision for AI‑enabled autonomous aviation.

ON SET

Alongside his work in technology, Ziv became one of the pioneers of professional drone filmmaking, working on major motion pictures and television productions as an Aerial Director of Photography and VFX aerial specialist. His credits include The Matrix, The Expendables, Homefront, The Circle, and many other productions.

WHAT’S NEXT

Ziv continues collaborating with government agencies, universities, startups, and industry leaders to advance autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, aviation, and emerging technologies. Through entrepreneurship, public speaking, and philanthropy, he remains focused on building technologies — and people — that create lasting impact.

“Technology, creativity, business, and the arts were never separate disciplines. They have always been part of the same journey — combining engineering with storytelling, innovation with design, and entrepreneurship with meaningful impact.”

Whether building companies, developing autonomous aircraft, working on film productions, performing on stage, or speaking to audiences around the world, his passion remains the same: turning ambitious ideas into technologies and experiences that create lasting impact.
